SHOP, ANIMAL SUPPLIES, FISH FEED
It’s not often you encounter advertisements that can boast a similar variety of letterforms and dynamic
composition as this local animal supplies shop. It seems clear that both signs underwent many adjustments
in both form and content in a constant pursuit of perfection. Please note the little fishes in the second specimen.

TYPOGRAPHIC MUSHROOMS

Three mushroom signs of different styles from northern Poland. People place them by the village road
to announce their readiness to buy mushrooms and forest fruits collected by locals in the nearby forests.
The first one is particularly interesting for the pencil grid and peculiar letter G. It’s funny how
a lower-case r accidentally sneaked in while painting the last word.
The first and third signs are also notable for their interesting grammatical inconsistencies.
