CIASTKA PASZTECIKI LODY NAPOJE

Another example of sticker type in Warsaw (also Helvetica and also from a cake shop) but this time
with very interesting signs of intervention in the letters – surely motivated by a limited number of letters.
There’s two custom-made A‘s and an oddly shaped Y but the most notable is the Z in ‘paszteciki.’

ZAPRASZAMY NA PASZTECIKI

Sticker-type is massively used all over Poland since the nineties when, after the collapse of the communistic regime,
small business started blooming again. Such letters in all sizes (here Helvetica) are a very cheap, easy to apply
and effective way of communicating with potential customers. They had a strong influence in the shaping of the aesthetic
of both urban and rural environments in Poland. In this case the message is “WE WELCOME YOU FOR PIES”.
