Some more findings from Helsinki’s pet cemetery and this time definitely on the cute side.
In some parts of the world, e.g. South America, it’s quite usual to have the graves heavily
adorned but as far as Finland is concerned the only time I’ve seen a more daring colour used
in this context was on Vili‘s grave.
The poem says: “The star twinkles now only in heaven, there’s no way of forgetting you ever.


Nöpö is a popular name for pets in Finland.
